Ready for the next power outage.
A portable AM/FM radio with a 12,000 mAh battery, an LED flashlight, a reading light and a carry handle. Charge it by USB-C, or top it up with the hand crank and two solar panels. Keep it at home for outages or take it to camp.
Good for, and not made for.
Good for: power outages, camping and the cottage, reading after dark, and topping up a phone when there is no wall outlet.
Not made for: fast charging by sun or crank. Both depend on conditions and are slower than USB, so keep it charged by USB-C.

- 12,000 mAh battery, as stated by the maker

ABOUT BIRCHWOOD
Gear that does the job, explained plainly.
We choose clothing and gear for people who walk the dog before work, spend weekends at the cottage and want boots that stay comfortable all day.
Every product page tells you what it's good for, and what it isn't. We list the materials and measurements we know, and say so when the maker doesn't. Not sure what fits? Email us and we'll help you choose.
Made for everyday use
Dog walks, errands and weekends at the cottage. Not mountaineering.
