Compass Kids' Smartwatch with Calling and Location

Calls and location, once set up.

A children's smartwatch with a colour screen and an adjustable silicone strap. The maker lists calling, video calls, location tracking and an SOS function over 4G, Wi-Fi and GPS. These only work with a compatible mobile plan, the app and careful setup.

Good for, and not made for.

Good for: families who want a simple way for a child to call home, once the watch, app and plan are set up and tested together.

Not made for: use straight out of the box. Compatibility with Canadian networks has not been checked yet, so before you order, ask your mobile carrier whether this exact model, its network bands, a service plan and the required app will work. Location depends on coverage and conditions, so test location and SOS before you rely on them.
