Close-fitting men's cycling shorts with five pockets and no seat pad. For rides on the rail trail, trips into town and other outings where you want a phone and a small bottle on you without a backpack.
Good for: rides when you don't want a pad, or when you wear your own padded liner underneath. The thigh pockets keep a phone at hand when you stop.
Not made for: long rides if you're used to a seat pad. These shorts have no chamois or pad.
The size guide gives a height and weight range for each size, as stated by the maker. Go by that chart rather than your usual letter size: the largest size, 3XL, is listed for 68.9–72.8 in (175–185 cm) and 198–209 lb (90–95 kg).
