Espresso at camp, by hand.

The TrailPress is a small hand-pressed espresso maker for camping, road trips, the cottage dock or your desk at work. Add ground coffee and hot water, press by hand, and drink from the cover, which doubles as a cup.

Good for, and not made for.

Good for: coffee at camp, on road trips and at the cottage, when you have a kettle, stove or flask for hot water.

Not made for: heating water or grinding beans. It has no heater, so bring hot water from a separate kettle, and use ground coffee.

How to make a cup.

Clean the brewer before first use. Fill the coffee compartment with ground coffee and level it with the spoon. Add hot water to the water container without overfilling. Put the parts together firmly as the instructions show, then press slowly to fill the cup.

Careful with hot water.

Handle hot water and fresh coffee with care. Let the parts cool down before you open or clean the brewer.
